Allyson Hixson graduated from Prosser Career Academy in 2011 and attended the Illinois Institute of Arts- Chicago. Pastry has always been a passion of hers, and Allyson has shared her passion for baking with other C-CAP students since she graduated high school. Over the last six years she’s worked as a co-instructor in our summer Baking & Pastry Camp and volunteered at numerous C-CAP events around the city.
Allyson graduated from IIA-Chicago in 2014 with her Associates Degree. She went on to work for several small bakeries honing her craft. She decided to finish her education at IIA-Chicago in their bachelors program for hospitality management and graduated with her degree in 2016.
Allyson currently works as a Supervisor with Sodexo at Concordia University where she wears many hats. Throughout her education and work experience Allyson never fails to give back to C-CAP and our students.
