D.C. Program Coordinator Yvette Williams with Jonathan

Jonathan Hernandez graduated from Duval High School in 2015 and went on to attend the Culinary Institute of America. Upon graduation in 2017, Jonathan was offered a full-time position as a line cook at DBGB Kitchen & Bar in D.C. He’s fortunate enough to be working alongside Executive Chef Nicholas Tang. Sous Chef Kylil Henson, also a C-CAP D.C. alum, is there as well to help mentor Jonathan into an awesome culinarian.
