About Us

In the Chicago Region, C-CAP prepares 2,000 high school students in 27 schools for college and career opportunities in the restaurant and hospitality industry. C-CAP provides job training and internships, curriculum enrichment for high school culinary classrooms, career exploration and advising opportunities, scholarships through cooking competitions, college advising, teacher professional development and product donations for classrooms.

Our National Impact

3.2 million underserved youths in the U.S. between 16 and 24 are not in school and do not have jobs.

As the restaurant and hospitality industry continues to surge, with a forecast of 1.7 million new restaurant positions by 2025, there is an overwhelming need for trained, hard-working and dedicated staff. C-CAP's unique programs prepare students for successful careers in this industry.
