About Us

In the New York City Metro Area, C-CAP prepares 2,173 high school students in 21 schools for college and career opportunities in the restaurant and hospitality industry. C-CAP provides job training and internships, curriculum enrichment for high school culinary classrooms, career exploration and advising opportunities, scholarships through cooking competitions, college advising, teacher professional development and product donations for classrooms. Through our high impact Job Training Program, students go on to paid internships at notable New York City restaurants and corporate dining facilities such as Ai Fiori, Bouchon Bakery, Café Boulud, Carbone, Compass Group, Dos Caminos, The Meatball Shop, Union Fare, Perry St., Red Rooster, The Breslin, and more.

As the restaurant and hospitality industry continues to surge, with a forecast of 1.7 million new restaurant positions by 2025, there is an overwhelming need for trained, hard-working and dedicated staff. C-CAP's unique programs prepare students for successful careers in this industry.
