The annual summer Job Training Program took place in Washington, D.C. from June 25 through June 29. C-CAP students learned the hard and soft skills necessary to obtain a job in the food and hospitality industry. The next portion of this training is the Internship Program, taking place in July and August.
On June 29, we hosted our annual College 101 workshop at Bobby Van’s Grill in Washington, D.C.. This workshop gave our scholarship winners the opportunity to learn about campus life, college advising, and staying in touch with C-CAP while in school. Students also got answers to all of their burning questions about being college students.
