Growing the Next Generation of Food Stars: A C-CAP Cocktail Party Benefit
Thank you to everyone who came out to our Hamptons fundraiser, Growing the Next Generation of Food Starts – it was a tremendous success thanks to your support. A very special thank you to the chefs, restaurants, and brands who donated their time, food, product and prizes, especially Macari Wines and Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits for keeping the bar flowing, chef Jason Weiner with Almond, chef Evan Tessler with Carissa’s Bakery and chef Josephr Realmuto with Nick and Toni’s for keeping us fed!
The event was our first in-person celebration of the year to support the rising new generation of food stars and the return of the restaurant and hospitality industry as it begins to flourish anew. Proceeds from the evening fully supported our mission of helping 20,000 underserved teens in more than 150 schools with culinary, job, and life-skills training, to provide pathways to higher education and employment in the food sector.
