C-CAP Los Angeles and Jonathan Club hosted a Winter Gala on February 1st. The event began with a cocktail reception including hors d’oeuvres, fine wine, sparkling wine, craft beer and specialty cocktails by the club’s mixologist, Brian Summers. After the reception, there was a multi-course dinner with a live auction. Featured chefs included Austin Cobb from The Strand House, Hilary Henderson from Faith and Flower, Mei Lin from Nightshade, Jason McClain from Philly Jay’s Food Truck and Sherry Yard from The Great American Baking Show. The Winter Gala raised funds to support C-CAP LA’s career readiness programs for underserved high school culinary students in Southern California.
