Michelin Stars Under the Stars Gala

C-CAP Los Angeles’ gala was an evening to remember. Thank you to our participating chefs and their teams for crafting the most incredible menu, C-CAP students and alumni who supported and participated in the event, Jonathan Club for hosting the evening, all our incredible auction donors and sponsors, and of course, the mighty C-CAP LA team!

The evening started out outside with Starting with Hors-d’œuvres like Waygu Coronets from Jonathan Club Chef Andreas Roller. Inside, the meal started out with Lobster with Leeks, Peas, and Sauce Americaine from Chef Gary Menes at Le Comptoirla. The wine pairing was Matthiasson Wine Chardonnay, Linda Vista Vineyard, Napa Valley 2020. The second course was a Trout Mousse with Mussel Cream accompanied by Bleu Belle Farm veggies by Chef Dominique Crenn. Then paired with Pinot Noir 2020 from the Russian River Valley and Lola Wines. Our very own 2021 Michelin Guide two-star winner Chef Josiah Citrin did the entree. Marcho Farms Veal with chanterelle mushrooms, charred scallions, herbs, and aged sherry plus mashed potatoes. Dessert from Donald Wressell capped the evening. Valencia Orange Chiffon Cake — Oro Verde Peru Chocolate Crémuux, flavors of tangerine, hazelnut, vanilla.
