Chef Maggie DeMarco, leads the kitchen at Telluride’s La Marmotte. Her culinary journey began in childhood, and by age 17 she gained recognition from The American Culinary Federation. She earned a full-tuition scholarship, completing her culinary education at The Culinary Institute of America.

Chef Maggie’s training spans Michelin-starred establishments worldwide. She joined La Marmotte in May 2021, rising to Chef de Cuisine in the Winter 2022-2023 season and is proud of her Mentorship Program and fostering a positive kitchen culture.

Passionate about local ingredients and French-Mediterranean cuisines, Chef Maggie crafts seasonal menus. Treasured memories include hosting wine pairing dinners, collaborating with James Beard Chefs, and cooking with French Culinary legend Pierre Gagnaire at the 2023 Telluride Film Festival.
